2. Purposes of Processing

Personal data collected through contact forms, application forms, education fairs, webinars, or direct communications is recorded in the Eudonet CRM in order to:

  • respond to student enquiries;
  • evaluate and process applications submitted to partner institutions;
  • support students in their plans to study in France;
  • manage the administrative follow-up of applications;
  • communicate with applicants regarding their applications and services provided by Join a School in France;
  • produce anonymized statistics related to programme activities.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of personal data is based on:

  • the implementation of pre-contractual measures requested by the applicant;
  • the legitimate interest of Join a School in France in providing guidance and application support to students;
  • the applicant’s consent where required for specific communications or activities.

5. Recipients of the Data

Personal data is accessible only to authorized persons acting within the scope of their duties, including:

  • the Join a School in France team;
  • relevant administrative departments of CCI Paris Ile-de-France;
  • partner educational institutions to which applicants wish to submit their applications;
  • technical service providers involved in the operation of the Eudonet CRM and related tools, in compliance with GDPR requirements.

Personal data is not sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Transfers Outside the European Union

Personal data is primarily hosted and processed within the European Union.

Should a transfer to a country outside the European Union become necessary, it will be carried out in accordance with GDPR requirements and subject to appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another recognized legal mechanism.

Applicant data is retained in accordance with the following principles:

  • active applications: for the duration of the admission process;
  • unsuccessful or withdrawn applications: up to two years after the last contact;
  • successful applications: up to five years following the end of the support period for administrative and monitoring purposes;
  • data required to comply with legal obligations: for the period prescribed by applicable laws and regulations.

At the end of the applicable retention period, personal data will be deleted or anonymized.

Join a School in France implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of personal data, including:

  • authentication of Eudonet CRM users;

  • secure backups;
